Private Exhaust Hood System Investigation

Neglected exhaust hood system cleaning, maintenance and or repairs lead to exhaust system problems. Since the entire system has been engineered to function as a cohesive unit, the cause of the problem isn’t always direct. Therefore, an investigation may be required to locate the source of the problem. Our thorough investigation consists of going on the roof to inspect the up-blast fan, belts, housing, hinges, grease collectors, make-up air, then going inside the attic to inspect joint welds, access panels, etc. We even climb the exterior wall if there’s surface mounted duct and up-blast fan. Our investigations do not consist of short cuts or assumptions; we investigate and inspect the entire exhaust hood system with unbiased honesty. We firmly believe that your success is our success!

After we’ve completed our investigation, we meet with the owner or an authorized decision maker(s) to submit the investigation report. If any issues are discovered, we provide pictures, video, and National Fire Protection Association codes and standards documentation to validate the problem(s), any violation(s), and/or our concern(s).

Our objective is to provide an honest, unbiased investigation and to educate owner(s) and authorized decision maker(s) about commercial and restaurant kitchen fire safety so that they can make informative decisions to protect themselves from levies and liability, and to protect their staff and patrons from fire hazards. During an investigation, we put customer education and the safety of staff and patrons over profit opportunities. We firmly believe that investigations should not be used as a method to sell services.

All of our technicians are properly trained, qualified and certified to maintain and repair your entire exhaust hood system. 100 percent of our services meet or exceed the codes and standards of the National Fire Protection Association, national and state law, local jurisdictions, insurance companies, and franchise agreements.
